Something bentofabulous to look at.

So with all this bentofabulous nonsense, you’d think I could get around to posting some fabulous bento. Well trying to get the logistics of this blog thing is really starting to get to me, but I think finally I might have the hang of it. Probably not though.

These past few weeks have been crazy in my house, the holidays are very busy for us. With all the shopping and baking it is 10 days until Christmas and I still don’t have my tree up. We’ll get there, it seems it’s going to be a last minute crunch this year, ugh, I hate that! Thinking up winter and holiday themed bento is definitely keeping me in the Christmas spirit, so without further ado, on to the bento!

This was The Youngest’s lunch earlier in the week, she had mini snowflake ham and cheese sandwiches decorated with some icing snowflake “candies”. In the other tier she had a clementine, dried blueberries, celery with peanut butter in the snowman cup (Thank you Dollar Tree!) and some wafer cookies for dessert. We call them wood cookies in my house because my husband says they are the same texture as balsa wood that is used for those dime store airplane fliers! I know it is strange! The thing in the corner is an extra sandwich that didn’t fit!

This is The Youngest’s snack for that day, it mixed apple slices and a Baby Bel cheese that I used a candy cane cutter on and then pieced back in some to make the stripes, nifty huh? She loved it and told me how her friends asked how her Mom made her such “magic” snacks!

The last for now is The Oldest’s lunch from yesterday. I wish the ram-en side wasn’t so plain, but that how she likes it, so that’s how it goes! The animal sticking out has some seasoning in it. The other side has crackers, salami and a clementine.  Sorry for the lack of creativity, but most of The Oldest’s lunches are created at 6:15 in the morning.  I’m not quite as bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as I am when The Youngest’s are being prepared!

I added this post to What’s for Lunch Wednesdays! Go check it out to see what other cute lunches people are making!

I have those same containers from the Dollar Tree! We use them for ranch most often. I’ve not tried peanut butter in them – next on the list! :) Merry Christmas!

We threw out the gross gum! But for a dollar I got the snowmen and then went back again for the Christmas trees! Couldn’t resist! Hoping they have them for all the holidays!

Thanks! I’m new at this, so I really appreciate your comment!
