Can’t believe it’s March already!!!! Time flies when you’re making bento! Hopefully the Winter is finally behind us and we can begin to enjoy some warmer weather. I know I’m just itching to get into the garden, In a few weeks it’ll be time to plant peas and spinach, that’s means fresh veggies here we come!
Now on to the bento!
This one is in a new container that I picked up on our trip to H Mart and it’s exactly like one of the boxes you can win in my giveaway! Go check it out! This was for The Youngest today and while I made it we talked about the whole “in like a lion and out like a lamb thing”. I’m sure they’ll talk about it in her Kindergarten class today, so she will feel special when she cracks it open at snack time this afternoon. Isn’t that what bento is all about? Making food for someone you love so they’ll feel special when they eat it? Anyway, in this snack she has a BabyBel cheese that I cut away they wax with a flower shaped cutter and then used an icing tip to make a circle that I added back on. I think it looks like a lion, don’t you? With it she has some mini Club crackers, On the other side she has sliced kiwi with a lion fork and red and green grapes on lamb and lion picks! The silicone cups are from Wilton and all the picks came from All Things For Sale (dont’t forget about the BENTOFABULOUS check out code for your 5% off!).
